THEM Hypersigil: Post Script

THEM Hypersigil: Post Script
OR the “Hold on a minute I have been too hasty” update.

Having recently worked on formatting THEM for release on Amazon, the hypersigil element of the book has been on my mind a lot recently. I actually re-read it last night and I have to say that it looks wonderful on my Kindle Fire. You can check it out HERE if you like, if you have Kindle Unlimited you can read it for free.

Wilde At Heart!

I have spoken numerous times before about how Stuart Wilde was one of my early and lasting influences and yet I am always surprised by how few people actually recognise the name. He was a huge deal back in the day but now his name draws blank stares.

Admittedly this has probably a lot to do with the circles I am in these days – Chaos Magicians really don’t like getting too close to any sort of New Age ideas just in case their friends see them hanging around with the nice kids. That New Age stink is very hard to remove.

The CMG AMA with Alan Chapman Round up Post (Includes PODCAST)

Last Friday we had an AMA with the great Alan Chapman over on the Facebook Chaos Magic Group (CMG). It went really well and you can read the thread HERE. (Note you will have to be a member of CMG to see it).

Resistance is Futile

I have a very rocky relationship with my understanding of the spiritual ideas of “surrender” and “letting go” in regard to what they actually mean in a practical day to day way. I have talked before about how, to me, it often seems that in taking particular (mostly bastardised) Buddhist ideas to their conclusions, it would lead you to the suggestion that the best thing is to”just give up”.

The Uncrossing Ritual

So, in my last post I talked about the experience of sometimes getting the exact opposite of what you magicked for and discussed a bit about this has manifested in my life. One of the things that I disregarded as a factor was me being Cursed or Crossed or otherwise Hexed. However, as a number of people mentioned to me that I shouldn’t dismiss this idea so quickly, I said, yea why not? let’s look at this thing and see what I can do about it.

When the Ancestors call for Dinner

Ancestor work and Ancestor Offerings are seen as one of the most valued Magick practices, if not the practice, by many people who’s thoughts and Ideas on Magick I enjoy. Gordon White has a whole section on it in The Chaos Protocols, as does Jason Miller in his Strategic Sorcery course and books, as do many others. It’s cited as an extremely beneficial practice due to your Ancestors probably being the best spirits you can work with. They already have a deep connection to you, are likely to be loving, kind, helpful towards you and would want only good things for you.
