For the Love of Newspaper Comic Strips

I really love the old Newspaper Strips, in particular, the more photorealism genre – and at least twice have tried to do my own. Turbine Syndrome will have elements of the style and technique (and in places perhaps format), so I have been looking through all the images I have collected and thought I’d share a few of my favourites. I hope you enjoy – and if anyone has any good resources for this sort of thing, please let me know!

Tommie Kelly is an Artist and Writer, but not always in that order. He has published a number of Comics, some of which are about music, though they're all mostly about magic in some way. Tommie believes creating art is the biggest magickal act there is and is firmly in agreement with Alan Moore that Art=Magic.

He also created the Forty Servants.
