(Note: after the next chapter is released then there will be a generally released PDF collection of the three new chapters,
but for now, Patreon is the only place to get the latest chapters)

So, this chapter took a lot longer than I expected.
The plan I initially had of doing 2 chapters a month seems incredibly naive now given the level of detail I want to put into the art. But I am hoping to pick up more speed as I go through more subsequent chapters.

This chapter took a lot more out of me emotionally than I expected too.

I had a rough idea of what I wanted to do with the chapter, the symbolism I would use, and the general outlook of the character but I didn’t have the actual words until a particularly bad night over Christmas, in which I was in full Covid depression darkness, quite drunk, and up way too late. And it just all poured out of me. It was quite raw so there was some editing but it ended up staying pretty much intact in the final version. Sitting in the headspace of this character for the last few weeks has been quite tough and I am very happy to be on the other end of it.

The next chapter is a much, much lighter affair. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it, as bleak as it may be.

Tommie Kelly is an Artist and Writer, but not always in that order. He has published a number of Comics, some of which are about music, though they're all mostly about magic in some way. Tommie believes creating art is the biggest magickal act there is and is firmly in agreement with Alan Moore that Art=Magic.

He also created the Forty Servants.
